Seeking members

Purpose

Support the Lake Cherokee Neighborhood Association's mission by identifying and pursuing grant opportunities, community funding sources, sponsorships, and charitable contributions that help fund neighborhood programs, events, preservation efforts, beautification projects, and other community initiatives.

Immediate priorities

  • Prepare and submit a 2027 City of Orlando Mayor's Matching Grant application. Deadline for 2027 funding is 9/11/26. Categories: Physical Improvements; Public Safety; Educational & Cultural Initiatives.
  • Evaluate Orange County Neighborhood Services Grant opportunities. Applications are due on the Second Thursday in September, January, and April; first come, first served. Programs: Neighborhood Beautification Grant; Sustainable Communities Grant; Nonprofit Safety Grant.
