Purpose
Serve as a connection between Lake Cherokee residents and Orange County Public Schools (OCPS), helping share information, foster dialogue, and keep residents informed about developments that may impact the neighborhood. LCNA remains neutral on OCPS initiatives while encouraging transparency, community engagement, and respectful discussion.
What this looks like
- Monitoring OCPS initiatives and developments that may affect the neighborhood
- Attending public meetings, workshops, and information sessions
- Sharing relevant updates and resources with residents
- Facilitating communication between residents and OCPS representatives
- Identifying opportunities for community engagement and collaboration
- Providing updates to the LCNA Board and residents
